Every single day, thousands of people use trams to commute in Arad, a city located in the western part of Romania. From newborns to the elderly, who constitute the greatest percentage of travellers, one can find people belonging to many different races and nationalities on trams. The denizens of Arad are proud of the trams, which have been a living part of the city ever since 1869. More than that, due to the significant number of people relying on them, trams are part of the citizens’ lifes as well. I took this picture at midday, when the commotion is at its highest.
